I’ve known for years that the Williamsburg area bus system refers to its bus line by colors. I’ve long been familiar with the red line, the blue line, …

I was just driving back home from Toano Middle School, which was the start/finish location of the bike ride I did this morning — and I saw a bus on a line that I hadn’t noticed before. The sign on the bus proclaimed: “Tan Line.”

Hmmm.

Wonder if they only run that during the summer months?
