These guys have such fun!
The World Series begins tonight! For the first time in recent years, both teams are very strong, with great pitchers and scary hitters. In recent years, one team or the other has been dominant; no Series has lasted more than five games. It would be great fun if this would be an epic Series, going seven games!
Of course, there may be big trouble in the offices of St. Stephen Lutheran Church. The Parish Administrator is as big a Yankees fan as the Pastor is a Phillies fan. It could be that the Synod will need to send in a conflict resolution team. Sandy Peterkin told an office visitor, “It’s going to get ugly.”
My solution is much simpler. We just won’t talk about it. It’ll be just like when my family gets together at the beach. There’s a whole list of things we can’t talk about!
