Activities for Children at Saint Stephen

Faith Formation
- Children’s sermon during worship
- Classes provided between services
- Vacation Bible School
- First Communion

Intergenerational Activities
- Advent Fair
- Reformation Sunday
- Lenten Activities
- Breakfasts
- Children partner with parents to serve during worship (usher, greeter, etc.)

Family Night
- Child care and dinner provided
- Parents of young children have time for fellowship
- See calendar for future dates

Music
- Children sing as a group during worship several times a year
- During faith formation as part of the centers-based learning curriculum
- Caroling

Nursery provided for young children during both services
- For infants through age 5
- Children are brought up to the parents during communion
- Paid attendant and volunteers from the congregation make the nursery possible
