Children’s Faith Formation

During Sunday morning Faith Formation for children, we’re finding that the Augsburg – Fortress curriculum called Spark is very exciting for our children and teachers!

This resource makes lessons interactive and addresses all types of learners. Children are exploring their weekly lessons through three main centers: story, music and craft.

Children are also bringing home a family page that allows them to share their experiences in faith formation with their loved ones.

In addition, all children receive their own copy of the Spark Story Bible that they use during their time in the centers. Of course, it’s a great resource for families to use at home, too!

Sunday morning Faith Formation for children ages preschool to fifth grade takes place between the services from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m, from Labor Day through Memorial Day.

Older youth meet with Pastor Ballentine on Sunday mornings, in-between the services, to talk about how the week has gone, and how God has been moving in their lives.
